This is a second whole-brewed whole soybean soy sauce that is made by brewing the main brewed soy sauce for one year and then adding soybeans and wheat again, instead of water, and aging it for a further two years. The result is a richness that evenly pours, and the mellow taste as the salty sharpness has been removed by the long-term aging process.
The label design features an image of the Ebisu god, the same design as was advertised in the Taisho era. We are pleased when this soy sauce is likewise presented as a congratulatory gift summoning the good fortune that this god represents.
